Sterling silver and semi precious stone by Betsy Cromley

Betsy Cromley lives in York, ME, and Boston, MA, and has studios in both places where she works in sterling silver, semi-precious stones, and sometimes gold and bronze. She spent her career teaching architectural history to future architects, and learned a lot about design from them. A few years before retiring, she took a class in silversmithing. She got hooked, took many more classes, and has been selling her jewelry for the past six years. She enjoys selecting semi-precious stones and arrives at designs for brooches and necklaces by responding to each stone's character.
