From the Introduction
   "We've changed our name this year, something we've been meaning to do for a long time.  We dropped the "liberated" from the title because somehow it no longer seemed necessary to differentiate or glorify the point of view that more and more women are sharing today. 
   We've also changed our format, mostly in response to those of you who wrote to complain that you couldn't find enough speace on each date to jot down you many appointments.  This year there's twice as much room, and we hope you'll find the calendar even more useful.
   But even though it may look a little different.  The Woman's Calendar for 1978, like its seven predecessors, continues to carry the same message: Women are making history every day of the year."
