ANTIQUE, VINTAGE PEWTER INK WELL AND PEN HOLDER
Early to late 19^th century.

It is in excellent condition, as the pewter has no dents or major scratches.  The bottom has felt covering any authorship marks.  These ink wells were typical in the 19^th century – a Capstan or Loggerhead variety. The ink holder part is now not ceramic, but a usable and pristine white plastic, so it is close to the original.

It measures 8 inches in diameter and stands 2 ¾ inches high.  A lovely and powerful addition to your desk,  2 Quill pens come with the item. Pen holes could also serve modern day pens.

Outstanding!:  heavy weight of pewter. Large example.  Could be used still for pens or even as bud vase!
