This 6"X6" woodcut print was created using Japanese carving and printing tools and hand-printed with black sumi ink.  The background is a hanpainted reproduction of an existing map printed on acid-free paper with archival inks.  The mounted print has been sealed for protection and mounted on acid-free mat board before being attached to a painted canvas.
