Badlands in Rockville, MD is a nature-inspired play space designed with the whole family in mind. Their 30,000-square foot facility provides opportunities for families to grow together and for children to learn through both active and passive play, risk-taking, and mindfulness.

Parents can work with their children designing and creating in the Workshop or relax in the café, while the kids explore the open play area, climb the mountain, or tinker with a new tool. At Badlands, kids will discover new skills, have fun, and stretch their imaginations.

Badlands offers activities and programs for children from 2 to 13 years old . . . . oh and they serve alcohol for adults, if you needed an extra incentive.

"Great spot for kids of all ages and the adults that care for them. Facility is incredibly clean, staff is wonderful, and there is so much do! Climbing mountains, slides, building camps and forts, a cinema room, and science exhibits. It sounds like it's geared more toward older kids, but I took my 2.5 year-old, and everyone had a great time! They also have party rooms. They have a great little cafe that serves decent food for a decent price. Also serves beer, wine, and coffee drinks. Highly recommend to anyone with kids looking for a place to play indoors!"
