Kinder A     You Are My Sunshine

This beautiful artwork created by the kindergarten class was inspired by the children’s author Eric Carle. Known for many books such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Very Lonely Firefly,and Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me, Eric Carle uses a collage technique to make these books come alive.   Just as the author does for his books, the kindergarten class experimented with making hand-painted paper which was then cut to create layers to form these wonderfully bright colorful collage pieces of art.
 
When you look at these, look through the eyes of your child and cherish the creative expression they have brought to life and smile.  They are only children but for a fleeting moment.
