2016 Orsianna Chardonnay, Mendocino

Mendocino is well suited for the production of Chardonnay aiming for a fresher, lighter style.  Unadorned by winemaking flourishes, flashy new oak, buttered-popcorn or crème brulée, it offers instead, pure and abundant naturally fresh fruit flavors of Bosc pear and white currant, inspired by the white wines of northern Italy.  100% stainless steel aged.

Farmed according with organic principles,  void of malolactic fermentation and held eight months in steel before release, Veritas has a conservative bouquet of whte tea and floral aromas  that unfolds nicely with delicate touches of apple peelings and light minerality. The palate is well-balanced with fine acidity and harmonious flavors of honeydew melon and tree-fruits.
