Head to Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia on Saturday, October 27th, for the 91st Running of the International Gold Cup! Invite 30 of your closest friends to enjoy an afternoon of tailgating, socializing, terrier race exhibitions, fancy hats and pari-mutuel horse racing. There are 5 steeplechase and 4 flat races, highlighted by the $75,000 Gold Cup race ...The big race is contested at the distance of 3 1/2 miles over timber fences and carries a purse of about $90,000. Other steeplechase and flat stakes are on the program and there is pari-mutuel betting on all races.

Enjoy up-close viewing where you will feel the horses thundering hooves as they race by your tent next to prestigious Members Hill.  You’ll receive tickets for a RAIL 1 South Tent which will accommodate to 30 guests in a 15’x15’ tent on Rail 1, an 8’x15’ picketed patio (front), 15 race programs, 1 reserved car pass, 3 general car passes and 6 Members Hill badges.   

Bring your chairs and a picnic lunch.  Chris and Janet will provide a snack and beverage basket to energize you throughout the day.
