Misty Segura-Bowers is a fine artist and illustrator. She studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and got her start creating art for Hollywood films in 2002. If you've seen The Matrix trilogy, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean or Transformers series, you have experienced her work. 

For a decade she worked with leading art and film directors. There, she fell in love with the art of creating cinematic imagery that balance tension with beauty, while conveying an entire story in a moment. This is the passion and drive behind her art.

She uses watercolor, acrylic, and charcoal and considers her work abstract realism.

Misty currently works and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
