One week of Summer Keyboard and Music Immersion Camp at Center for Musical Creativity.
This camp is open to 7-10 year-old beginner musicians. If your child has been thinking about playing any instrument then this Music Camp will help them learn basic music theory and introduce them to the musical alphabet. This is a great way to see whether your child is interested in learning music, plus it will be an entertaining week of non-stop fun!
Located in Southeast Denver, the Center for Musical Creativity will introduce students to the language of music in a small group through an immersive musical camp experience. Get a jump start on fall lessons! Campers will enjoy lots of musical games and activities, plus they will play on keyboards provided by the camp. (No piano/keyboard is required at home.)
Music Camp Topics include:
- Musical alphabet
- Note and rhythm reading
- Improvisation and ability to express themselves musically
- Basic music theory
- Ensemble playing
Course Length: 1 week (Monday to Friday); One hour class per day
- Week of June 4 @ 10:00am
- Week of June 25 @ 1:30pm
- Week of July 23 @ 10:00 AM
