Have you ridden a Fjord lately?  Ironwood Farm is offering a one-hour private group riding lesson for up to 3 riders at Ironwood Farm in Rixeyville.  Lesson includes basic grooming, tacking, and post lesson care. This lesson will be designed for the group needs -- we can work with beginners who have never ridden before to intermediate riders who can canter and jump.  Fjords are a versatile and fun breed.

Terms and Conditions

2. Lesson may be used in 2018. If not used by December 31, 2018, the lesson expires.  Please note that all riding is outdoors in our ring.


3. The lesson is for up to 3 people. If the winner wishes to take the lesson with less than 3 people, there are no additional lessons or make-ups for missing riders, nor is the lesson time extended.


4. Adults, children (age 4 and above) or a mixed group are welcome. We focus on fun and safety while teaching centered seat riding.


5. All riders are expected to wear long pants and footwear with a hard sole and heel. No tennis shoes!  Ironwood Farm will provide the helmets for all riders as needed.
