Kimberton Waldorf School, in Kimberton, PA, offers an unforgettable summer experience for children entering grades K-5.



Our 2018 summer camp runs from June 25 through August 17, 2018, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. You may sign up for as many weeks as you wish. The tuition fee is $350 per week.



A different theme each week means there’s always something new to explore!
Extended care is available for all age groups at an additional cost. Extended morning care is offered from 8:00 to 9:00 am for $50 per week. Extended afternoon care is offered from 3:00 to 5:00 pm for an additional $100 per week.
When prepaying in full, discounts are available for KWS students, families enrolling multiple children, and students registering for four or more weeks of camp.


Week 1:  Creek Adventures
June 25-June 29


Explore the French Creek and the fascinating creatures who live there. Children will have the opportunity to get their feet wet with fun water play, creek side hikes, tubing, swimming, fishing, and exploring habitats of the animals that live in and around the creek.


Week 2:  4th of July Celebration
July 2-6


Week 3:  Kids Cook
July 9-July 13


A unique cooking experience, children will learn about farming, nature, healthy cooking, and what it takes to bring food from the farm to the table. This program offers a great way for young people to make the connection between their food, health, and the environment. With a focus on sustainable food, children will learn to make frittatas, bread, butter, pizza, fresh salsa, guacamole, and more. Kids Cook week includes a daily snack and lunch. A $50 materials fee will be charged.


Week 4:  Discover the Farm
July 16-July 20


Children will discover the wonders and rhythms of farm life. Whether it is helping care for our animals or tending to our gardens, there is never a dull moment on the farm! This week of hands-on activities allows children to explore and connect with the many aspects of living and working on a farm.


Week 5:  Discover the Farm
July 23-July 27


Children will discover the wonders and rhythms of farm life. Whether it is helping care for our animals or tending to our gardens, there is never a dull moment on the farm! This week of hands-on activities allows children to explore and connect with the many aspects of living and working on a farm.


Week 6:  Outdoor Explorers
July 30-August 3


Experience life on our farm, in our fields, and through our forests. Children will help care for our animals, engage in woodland explorations, build forts, search for animals and their homes, and enjoy adventures in the trails and fields surrounding our school.


Week 7: Kids Cook 
August 6-August 10


New recipes and old favorites!  A unique cooking experience, children will learn about farming, nature, healthy cooking, and what it takes to bring food from the farm to the table. This program offers a great way for young people to make the connection between their food, health, and the environment. With a focus on sustainable food, children will learn to make old favorites and new recipes. Kids Cook week includes a daily snack and lunch. A $50 materials fee will be charged.

August 13-August 17

Winners will be notified when they can pick up items from Charlestown Playhouse.


At winner's request, items that fit into a standard envelope will be mailed at no extra charge.  Shipping for anything larger is not included in the winning bid amount.  You will be contacted for payment and shipping information for those items.
