This new play, written by Anthony Giardina and directed by Tony winner Doug Hughes, follows a single mother and schoolteacher who receives an incredible financial proposal from one of her student’s parents. The story, according to producers, is loosely inspired from a passage in The Great Gatsby and “probes the troubling relationship of finance to educational opportunity in American life today.”
