These two sketches are by recognized Rust Belt artist Mychaelyn Michalec. Mychaelyn Michalec is a painter whose work has been shown and sold internationally. Her work has been highlighted in Art Maze, Elephant Magazine, Create! Magazine, and Studio View. She was previously a featured artist for Serena & Lily. Her work can be found in private collections as well as public commissions including those by the Dayton Metro Library and the Dayton Art Institute. Most recently she was selected by Saatchi Art to exhibit in New York. In April, she began a fellowship to be Artist in Residency for The Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts in New Berlin, NY. Michalec lives and works in Dayton, OH.
