About Color Dunes: Professionally trained at NIFT (India's premiere fashion-design institute), and a recipient of their "Best Design Student" award, Prachi started her career creating fresh and innovative patterns for the apparel industry. She soon grew to be the design lead of one of India's largest apparel producers. Her work there has adorned the fashion aisles of Saks, Liz Claiborne, Gap, and American Eagle. After moving to Atlanta, a hub for the US rug industry, Prachi developed an interest in home fashions and has since helped several known rug and decorative pillows suppliers bring freshness to their collections through her contemporary and eastern-traditional designs. Through those suppliers, her work is being sold by some of the best names in home fashions such as Crate and Barrel, Home Decorators and JC Penney. She continues to design rugs and very recently, two of her designs were awarded as the "Best rugs of the year" at "America's Magnificent Carpet Awards"!
