Things to Do in Park City Utah

Our three year-round world-class resorts: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort and Canyons Resort, as well as Utah Olympic Park convert their lifts and runs into miles of biking and hiking trails. Here, the skies are perpetually blue, the foothills are covered with wildflowers and the cool mountain breezes make summer weather a whole lot more enjoyable.  

But there are numerous other family-friendly activities besides mountain biking and hiking in Park City. A trip to Park City wouldn't be complete without visiting Historic Main Street with its host of dining and plenty of options for shopping in Park City.

Speed Thrills

If you're into thrills, try out the summertime bobsled experience at the Utah Olympic Park. But that's just the beginning.

The Park City Mountain Resort Alpine Coaster is an elevated track featuring toboggan style cars that take you through more than a kilometer of scenic curves, bends, twists and loops. The "ride of your life?" That could be an understatement.
When you're done there, try the Utah Olympic Park summer bobsled ride aptly called "The Comet" - one of the longest slides in the world, with over 3,000 feet of fast and furious gliding and sliding.  

The Zip Tour at Canyons Resort will take you on a heart-pumping tree top ride, spanning over 2,111 feet across the deep canyon below. The fully guided tours can easily fill an hour of group or family fun. Or try out the Zip Rider at Utah Olympic Park, featuring a 500-foot vertical drop, the steepest in the world. Yet another way to satisfy your wild side. Soar above the tree tops at speeds up to 60 miles per hour.  Whoever said you can't please all the people all the time has never visited Park City in the summer.
