This villa is nestled in the gated community of Vista Ocotal that has a security guard 24/7. It is a short walk down a little path to Playa Ocotal and Father Rooster Restaurant that is right on the beach! You'll love this cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom space with the upgraded features, including granite counters, stainless steel appliances, tile floors, comfy beds, ceiling fans, air conditioning and washer/dryer in the unit. The kitchen window overlooks the grassy yard and lush trees. You'll see and hear howler monkeys in the tree right outside the villa! Each bedroom has a comfy queen bed and large armoire for clothing and other items. The living room does have a sofa sleeper. All linens, towels, and kitchen supplies are provided, so make yourselves at home!

ACCESS TO MORE AMENITIES AND ADVENTURES:
Guests of our villa enjoy access to Coco Bay Estates and The Beach Club at no additional cost! You'll be treated like a VIP and feel like a celebrity on vacation. The unit is only steps away from Playa Ocotal and The Beach Club. Coco Bay Estates is a short bike ride or car ride (only about a 1.5 miles from your villa). We'll provide a map upon confirmation of your reservation. You'll have access to three pools, tennis courts, fitness center and great restaurants. We offer access to 2 bikes with baskets and locks for a small additional fee and deposit for our guests! Traveling with kids? You'll love the games available at Coco Bay Estates. There is also a little activities rental stand near Father Rooster Restaurant on the beach where you can book other adventures, like kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, surfing and more! You'll have a great meal every time at Father Rooster while enjoying a beautiful beach setting and gorgeous Costa Rica sunsets. The Congo Trail Zipline and Monkey Sanctuary is only about 20-30 minutes from Vista Ocotal. Enjoy the gorgeous waterfall at Llano de Cortes (shown in our photos) - only about an hour away. The Developers of Vista Ocotal have recently opened an amazing Eco Adventure Park called Diamante that is only about 30 minutes from the villa! This park features the longest and fastest Zip Line in Central America. Enjoy a FULL DAY of adventures, like: zip line, horseback riding, ATV, mountain biking, numerous water sports and - of course - the animal sanctuary. Another favorite spot of ours is Guachipelin that also offers a FULL DAY of fun, including zip line, river rafting, horseback riding, butterfly exhibit, hot springs AND includes a wonderful lunch - all for about $85 for the day. Guachipelin is about 1 to 1.5 hours away from Vista Ocotal. You'll find our beach villa is a perfect location as a 'hub' for you to be so close to the beach and just a quick jaunt to so many activities and excursions. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
We will provide detailed information after the villa is booked. We are happy to answer any questions guests have prior to their vacation. We also have a local property manager who will take care of any request while the guest is staying in the villa.

GETTING AROUND:
Taxis are very affordable and will cost only about $5-7 to get to the little town of Coco. If you like to be active, it's fun to get around on foot or bicycle (which we provide for a small additional charge and deposit). If you want to venture to the jungle or other sites, you can easily rent a car. Rental cars are pretty inexpensive, but CAUTION - some require insurance and - if your credit card doesn't provide collision and damage protection, you'll want to get insurance anyway. It's a good idea to get liability protection even if your credit card covers the other.
