On Saturday, April 7, 2018, the winner and one friend/parent will meet Ms. Occhipinti at Irvine Valley College. They will get to tour the theater facility & meet some cast, then watch the production of "Our Town" by american playwright, Thornton Wilder. ms. Occhipinti is adjunct faculty director on this production and will give a once in a life time taste of a professional theater career.
Special Instructions
Winner and one friend/parent will meet Ms. Occhipinti @ IVC Performing Arts Center at 7:15pm. show begins at 8pm. Parents should be ready for pick up at IVC at 9:45pm. "Our Town" tells the story of the fictional small town, of Grover's Corners between 1901 and 1913 through the everyday lives of its citezens. It is a dramatic play, NOT a musical. Suggested for grades 3-8.
