Born in London and raised in the British West Indies, Charlene began her professional career as a colorist at Vidal Sassoon. For the next 7 years, Charlene worked in both the NYC and San Francisco Vidal salons. In 2005, Charlene was lured to the hot independent salon in the West Village of New York, Arrojo Studios. Just two years later, she joined Pangea Salon located in Union Square. In 2008, Charlene opened MINT.  She has also worked on numerous fashion shows in NYC for Fashion Week. She was also featured on "What Not to Wear" as the relaxer specialist for Arrojo Studio and on the Rachel Ray Show in a few makeover segments. Her motto is “less is more.”
