Raised and educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cecilia moved to New York in 2004.

Sassi studied composition and mix media under direct instructions from Edmund Valladares, South American expressionist. She has spent more than 20 years travelling and studying new techniques to incorporate to her artwork. In 2011 Cecilia received a Master degree in Digital Imagine and Design from the New York University (NYU) and since then she uses the new technologies as one of the steps in her creations.

Sassi sold her art to individuals and collectors worldwide.
