Henry “Hoby” Wedler is fifth-year Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Davis, founder and director of the nonprofit Accessible Science, and host of truly blind wine and beer tasting experiences and Credo High School teacher.

Join us for this amazing experience at Francis Ford Coppola Winery

You and your group of 10 will explore how flavors and aromas in wine are accentuated by simply turning off the lights. Each guest will don a blindfold and enter a world  where senses are re-oriented and taste opens itself to new perceptions. Your host Hoby Wedler, who will lead the group through various exercises around smell, focusing and fine-tuning the senses before launching into the flight of wines. In the dark, conversation flows easily as memories and associations surface, and Hoby leads the group to discover new depths of sensory appreciation.
