Description
Their work is created using the ancient technique known as millifiore (thousand flowers). First carefully designed loaves of clay are formed from colored porcelains. Then individual pieces are created by slicing cross-sections from the loaves. These are formed, shaped, sanded and then glazed and fired - three times! A 22kt. gold edging is applied, and the piece receives its final fire, resulting in a durable, wearable piece of art.
