Join a bay area native and long time swimmer, parent of a Credo High School Senior, Mark Mills-Thysen! 

For a bay swim in the cleanest water in SF Bay at the protected waters of Aquatic Park near Ghirardelli Square. In August, September or October the bay temperature is in the low 60’s and ideal for an adventure swim.
Most SF visitors think Fisherman’s wharf, the cable car terminus on Hyde Street and the historic ships at the pier are the real San Francisco. Most do not venture into the bay itself to get the full immersion experience. Near this tourist ghetto, the San Francisco swimming experience is in plain sight.

The lucky winning bidder may bring up to two guests.

This Credo exclusive tour includes:
transport from Sebastopol, Santa Rosa or Petaluma to San Francisco and back on a Tuesday through Saturday during August, September or October 2018.
use of one of the venerable bayside swim clubs on the sandy beach at Aquatic Park (showers, sauna, lockers),
local swim guide in the water,
post swim lunch at the historic Buena Vista Café (home of Irish Coffee!) or other local establishment.

Participants need to be strong swimmers and come with a swim cap, goggles, towel, swim suit and be ready for swimming up to a mile in cool water. Fabulous views, strong currents and wildlife may be encountered in the water.
