Description
Join Brentwood Art Center pottery instructor Patti Marcus in her Topanga studio and create a hand built figurine and paint with underglazes with up to 4 friends!
Ages 8 through 60 are welcome.
This three hour class includes lunch!
Images include a sample of the figurines by students, and original pottery by Patti Marcus.
About Patty Marcus:
In 1981, while working on her own ceramics, this native Californian decided to start teaching ceramics. By 1990, she opened The Patti Marcus Ceramic Studio in West Los Angeles with 25 students. By 1991, the enrollment grew to nearly 125 students who regularly attended classes, workshops, and gallery openings.
In 1999 Patti decided to broaden her scope and began working at The Archer School for Girls as a ceramics teacher for 8th through 12th graders until 2010.
In 2017 she joined the faculty at the Brentwood Art Center.
Patti has continued teaching in her studio and working on her own line of vases, olive oil jars, functional ware, along with eclectic works.
Special Instructions
This item will be available for pickup at the Elemental Music Concerts on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Lincoln Middle School Auditorium, 1501 California Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90403.
Auction Pickup will take place in the lobby between 1:00pm and 5:30pm.
If the item needs to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for the additional shipping charges.
