The Salem Witch Museum examines one of the most enduring and emotional events in American History...the Witch Trials of 1692. The main presentation is based on actual trial documents. Visitors experience the drama of that dark time though thirteen life-size stage sets, figures, lighting and a stirring narration as they are witness to the web of lies and intrigue of the Salem Witch Hunt.
Hours
The Salem Witch Museum and Museum Store are open year-round*** 10 am - 5 pm daily; 10 am to 7 pm in July and August.
We offer extended hours in October.
We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day and we close at 3:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. During the month of January, we typically close for two weeks to maintain the museum. In 2019 we will close on January 7-11 and January 14-18. Please call before coming to visit us should maintenance take longer than anticipated.
***Please note, during the winter months, the museum may close due to inclement weather.
