For 35 years, Deer Crossing Camp has provided an outdoor adventure for active 8– 17-year-olds in Eldorado National Forest near Lake Tahoe. Deer Crossing stands out from other summer camps due to our emphasis on skill building and wilderness safety, our focus on developing resilient youth, and our no-road, off-the-grid location (where campers hike in and all gear is boated in). Beginner to advanced classes in canoeing, windsurfing, rock-climbing, sailing, kayaking, and technical tree-climbing. Other activities include archery, backpacking, orienteering, guitar, and improv comedy. Beautiful lodge; platform tents.
