4 Intro to Trot Vaulting classes

Woodside Vaulters offers introductory vaulting classes for children – both boys and girls – new to the sport of vaulting. Introductory classes include ground exercises on the barrel as well as time on the horse at the walk and then the trot. Additionally, vaulters may assist in tacking as well as untacking the horse – all at the discretion of the coach and longeur, and considering the safety of the vaulters. No prior riding or gymnastics experience is required to begin classes. The specific lesson plan will vary based on the level and ability of the vaulters in each class. Children have the opportunity to progress from the introductory classes to our developmental and competitive team programs. Classes are year-round, and a child can join a class at any time.
