Description

This building was used to house cowboys during branding and other ranching activities on W.H. Greenwell Ranch. Located in Lehuulanui the name Monohaa is probably a corruption of Moenaohaa, a pali (ridge) at the mauka corner of Honuaino and Hokukano. Photograph by Baron Sekiya, 1992.


This photograph on canvas appeared in Kona Historical Society's 2016 exhibit, Kona Ranching and Kona Cowboys. Dimensions are 11"x1"4.
