Manago Hotel is located in Captain Cook Town on the slopes of Mauna Loa at an elevation of 1,350 ft, overlooking the beautiful Kealakekua Bay. Opened in 1917 in a two-room building by the late Kinzo and Osame Manago, the hotel expanded over the years to serve the needs of the community. The restaurant has been serving local favorites since the 1920s.
