Description

This acrylic painting is a depiction of a pa’u rider—“Molokai” done by artist Niki Fuller. Niki resides in Honolulu, and has many beautiful examples of her paintings displayed in numerous public spaces, as well as, a number of murals in prominent settings. Her work is also coveted by private collectors.

The painting measures 32 1/2” H X 22 1/2” W. The soft, green colors are tranquil and soothing. The kukui leaves, blossoms, and kukui nut necklace represent, symbolically, the island of Molokai, and add the right touch to the overall quiet beauty of the painting. “Molokai”—the pa’u rider-- is elegant and refined; her demeanor is quiet and soothing. The viewer pauses to ponder and contemplate her, as she returns his/her gaze in a beautiful, graceful, and serene manner. She will never fail to be admired with a smile…
