The 18-hole "Great Bear" course at the Great Bear Golf & Country Club facility in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania features 6,940 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the Great Bear golf course opened in 1997. Great Bear Golf Club will provide a quality experience within a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Growth of the membership will be a focus while offering the same level of high service to all individuals who choose to visit our property. Great Bear Golf Club will contribute to the game of golf and be a responsible member of the community.The course is pure beauty, where you can enjoy the time spent in nature even if you don’t have a good score. And it’s a good track for men and women. Then again, what golfer wouldn’t enjoy such a perfect course! The course features 48 bunkers. We play April through November, weather permitting.
