The students in Mrs. Huizenga's class created this blanket with lots of love.  The students each batik painted a square using Elmer's gel glue to create lines and designs on white fabric.  After the glue dried it became transparent and the students used acrylic paint to brush on various colors to make their own personal designs.  Nicole Taylor pieced, bound and sewed the quilt together, adding the Monte Cassino logo at the bottom as the final touch.  It measures 49" x 64".
