Since 1988, chocolatier Richard Donnelly has been making some of the finest chocolate in the world, right here in Santa Cruz. While in cooking school in Paris, France, Richard happened into a small chocolate factory and cafe where one bite changed the course of his life as he knew it. Having tasted some of the best chocolate ever, his goal became to make the finest chocolate on earth.

With the help of some family members, he was soon doing that, making some of the best chocolate that was ranked among the Top 10 in the world by National Geographic plus accolades from many other US magazines.
