Figure drawing, two men, 19.5" x 16.5"

Zvi Schreiber was born in Israel to holocaust survivors who emigrated to Israel after the WWII. In the late 1970s, after military service, Zvi moved from Israel to Manhattan where he studied at the Art Students League, and pursued a career as an artist. Zvi lived and worked out of his loft in Chelsea until 2015, when he died of cancer. Thanks to the generous donation of his estate, for the first time since Zvi’s passing, the art he left behind — his life’s work — is up for auction.
