Rookie Camp will be held August 22-26, 2018

Berkshire Hills Rookie Camp lets your child enjoy day camp this summer, and still get a taste of resident camp life and the Berkshire Hills experience before school starts. Rookie Camp packs all the fun of camp into a 5 day experience for first-time campers.

Everyone at Rookie Camp is new, so all the children get to learn the camp routine together.  Rookie campers follow our traditional camp schedule. They have cabin activities in the morning, electives in the afternoon, and unit activities in the evening.  Your child will enjoy swimming, sports, arts, nature and campfires before the week is up. 

Rookie Camp ends with a family picnic on the shore of our lake.  Parents & friends are invited to join their child from 11am-2pm for a great afternoon of fun at camp.  When Rookie Camp ends, your child wil be ready to return next summer as a veteran.
