HVSF's summer stage will be full of outsized personalities who cannot — or will not — conform to the expectations society has set out for them. Kate and Petruchio, King Richard and Henry Bolingbroke, Robin Hood and Maid Marion, Rip Van Winkle.  Outsiders all — ostracized, ousted, exiled… and, yet, uniquely themselves.  As Shakespeare said, “To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.” But what does it really mean to be true to yourself? And how do you distinguish the quiet voice of your own authentic self from the clamor of the world around you? This summer, HVSF invites you to join their band of trailblazers as they venture beyond the straight and narrow to discover the truly extraordinary!
