Description

Nurture your child's interest in computers and programming with four sessions of  Coding with UCode in La Canada that will be a challenging and encouraging experience. UCode teaches kids and teens from 8 to 19 years old how to write software. Their custom project driven curriculum with individualized instruction led by teachers. They average 5:1 student to instructor ratio with personalized 1:1 instruction.

UCode is a STEM based school that helps kids K-12 achieve their highest potential through software programming classes and camps where they learn to create apps, websites, games, robotics, and more. Whether a new student barely knows computers and is just learning to read or is already making money developing apps, we guide them from the fundamentals of logic all the way to professional software development with JavaScript, Java, Clojure, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Swift and C++.

Our vision is to fully realize the potential in every child for higher-order thinking and problem solving through computer science, and to empower those kids to be the best innovators and creators. We are leading the way for kids to exercise all areas of their minds and manage the complexity of hard problems in order to solve them, and to improve the skills and motivation around technology so that kids are prepared for the future.
