Description

Story Land has generously donated 2 day passes to its theme park located in New Hampshire!  For those of us who have been to the park, we know it's a fun-filled place for kids and (I admit it) adults!!  ^_^  Story Land is a wonderful place to bring your kids to for a day or a quick weekend trip if you live in New England.  This is the perfect place for young children!  Most rides at many parks are not suitable for younger children or children under a certain height.  Not Story Land!  They have many, many rides and activities suitable for children under 10!!  Story Land also allows you to bring your own lunch instead of purchasing food there AND if you have a child who loves Cinderella, there is tea time with Cinderella available for an additional $10 fee.  Your child(ren) will get to ride in Cinderella's coach to Cinderella's castle, have their picture taken on Cinderella's throne, and then have tea with the princess herself!

Story Land is open every weekend between Memorial Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend and every day between June 15th and September 3rd of 2018.  Please remember to review their 2018 Season Calendar (https://www.storylandnh.com/sites/storyland.com/files/STORY_2018_WEBSITE_PrintableCalendar_V1.pdf) before your trip to confirm that they are open!

Now a little history on Story Land...Bob and Ruth, husband and wife from North Conway, New Hampshire were given the idea to open Story Land from an old woman who introduced herself as Frau Edith Von Arps.  They met her in Germany while she was traveling door-to-door selling dolls she had made based on classic children’s fairy tales.  She suggested that Bob and Ruth build a small village around her dolls and the Morrells took the idea and expanded it to create a village to include not only dolls, but a village where storybook animals could live and where storybook characters could come to life.  Bob and Ruth added plans for rides and play areas to create a place where young families could visit, play and have fun, and live happily for at least a day or longer and their idea came to fruition in 1954 when they first opened for business.

Today, Story Land still entertains young families and children.  The amusement park has grown to include more shows, dining, characters, rides and play areas.  At the same time, the Story Land Team has been careful to keep the park from outgrowing the very people – the very little people and their parents – that Bob and Ruth dreamed about entertaining over half a century ago.  To learn more about Story Land's history and its attractions, please visit their website (https://www.storylandnh.com/)!!
