Each shawl is handmade and each one is a little different. They can be worn a number of ways!

They are hand-dyed by the Kalandar women. The Kalandar people used to 'dance bears' in order to provide for their families. In partnership with Wildlife SOS, they have learned new vocations and skills that do not involve exploiting wildlife. Additionally, Wildlife SOS provides an education fund for their children, thus eradicating the dancing bear practice forever.
