Description

This painting was inspired by Hazel, a sweet little elephant Wildlife SOS is working to rescue. Most our elephants are older and spent decades toiling for human profit. Hazel is very young, only five years old, and we’re trying to save her from that fate.

Hazel is alone, chained, and barely able to move. She is being kept in a small room for “training” – in effect breaking her spirit with torture, neglect, and abuse. This painting is how Sarah sees Hazel after her rescue, which we hope is coming soon!

Thanks for helping us fight for Hazel!
