The pictures don't do this beauty justice! This unique Professor pen combines both modern and rustic elements. Its form is relatively simple, without much ornamentation, but is made unique by the cross-hatched detailing at both ends. The rustic antique brass finish of the hardware is juxtaposed with the modern Gunmetal Swirl acrylic body. It consists of a black nacreous reflective base within which are beautiful swirls of metallic bronze with red highlights. It's quite spectacular and not fully captured in the picture. It measures just under 5 inches, takes Parker style refills and comes in a velveteen drawstring pouch. This is the perfect pen for the serious 'professor type' who likes to jazz it up a little!

John Baker started making pens on the lathe in 2017 to help him recover from a bone marrow transplant. Doing so in support of WSOS provides him with inspiration, motivation on the tough days and, most importantly, a sense of accomplishment, of 'giving back' in some small way. This is the second auction he's contributing to and he hopes to continue for many years.
