This Gentry twist pen has an elegant slim profile with beautiful detailing on the antique silver hardware. The body is striking wenge wood with a dark rich color and fine striations. It was hand-crafted on the lathe and polished to a high lustre with multiple thin coats of cyanoacrylate. It measures approximately 5.25 inches in length and takes a Cross style refill and comes in a drawstring velvet pouch.This special pen combines the best of both worlds: the natural beauty of the wood with the sophistication of the detailed hardware.

John Baker started making pens on the lathe in 2017 to help him recover from a bone marrow transplant. Doing so in support of WSOS provides him with inspiration, motivation on the tough days and, most importantly, a sense of accomplishment, of 'giving back' in some small way. This is the second auction he's contributing to and he hopes to continue for many years.
