Room 18’s class art project is a version of the flag of California. We chose this project because we have been learning about the state of California, including the geography and the habitats of different areas.
Our bear is painted in beachy, pastel shades and is enjoying the feeling of the sand beneath his/her paws.

We each chose a color and filled in the bear, the sand, the star and the bar at the bottom of the ‘flag’ with fingerprints, using stencils. We then each put a thumb print underneath in the color that we chose and signed our name.

The painting is nicely framed and ready to hang in your home. Bid for the bear! Aloha :-)
