Family Pack to the Children's Discovery Museum and $50 worth of ride tickets to Billy Jones Railroad

For younger kids (7 and under), Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose is well worth the trip south! Indoors there is a Thomas the Train exhibit with a life-size Thomas for the kids to climb on and a very large train table. There are many tactile rooms to explore: Waterways, the Bubble Room and Wonder Cabinet are big hits. Outdoors kids can draw on the cement, build with boards, get their hands dirty in the vegetable garden, play in the tree house, etc. Their rotating exhibits mean that there's always something new to see. Another South Bay venue that's always a big hit with the kids is the Billy Jones Railroad of Los Gatos. The kids can ride mini steam & diesel locomotives as well as the historic carousel. They also have a great playground and a food stand that serves hot cocoa and snacks. Children 2 and under are free!
