For this year’s silent auction project, the Wing C children helped construct a decorative lamp. Children were asked to bring in some of their favorite trinkets to add to the lamp base. They also painted the lamp shade with handprints that are multiple shades of green to resemble a tree’s foliage. The lamp base, with its array of brown, small figurines and trinkets invite the children to find and identify the different pieces. The lamp base and shade collectively stand 18 inches tall.
