This stunning Onyx Vase is from Lin Ottinger's Moab Rock Shop! Onyx is a banded variety of the oxide mineral chalcedony. It is characterized by parallel bands which range from white to almost any color.

This vase is polished onyx with intricate striped carving with virtually every color expressed in its bands.

Size: 8" Tall x 5" Wide with 2" opening. 

Lin Ottinger started selling rocks in Moab in the 1950's specializing in dinosaur bone, petrified wood, crystals, mineral specimens, fossils and meteorites.
