Talking Mountain Yurts has three locations to choose from:

1. Geyser Pass (Year round)- Located at 10,500 feet, our Geyser Pass Yurt offers year-round access to adventure! Wake up to the starting point of the Whole Enchilada!


2. Jimmy Keen Flat (May 1-November 1, Closed til Summer) - The perfect destination for summer fun, the Jimmy Keen Flat Yurt provides front-door access to miles of trails with epic views!


3. Gold Basin (November 15 – April 30) - Located in the heart of the La Sal Mountains, the Gold Basin Yurt is remote, and your gateway for winter exploration!

Talking Mountain Yurts provide a rustic backcountry experience with a few comforts.

NOTE: Yurts are for exclusive use – Your private group will not share the yurt with others. Each Yurt sleeps 8 people.

Booking for the yurts are rented by the night. When booking, please book the nights you plan to stay, not days.
