These four barrel samples of 2012 Pinot Noirs included the 2012 Pinot Noir (1,225 cases; 13.5% alcohol) which will be bottled unfined and unfiltered after 18 months in barrel. Its beautiful deep ruby/purple color is followed by notes of blueberries, raspberries and spring flowers. Fresh acids give the wine a zestiness. It also possesses plenty of underlying extract, a pure texture and an elegant style. Enjoy it over the next 7-10 years.
