One of the most common observations we heard this year was how Bordelais in style and taste the wine seemed. The factors of lower alcohol, even ripening, and moderate barrel treatment all lend themselves to this. Most importantly, though, this is a very attractive California Cabernet Sauvignon blended with enough Merlot to make the wine complex, yet bright and fresh.
