The wine is a 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. While it sees a small percentage of new oak, most of the juice is raised in older barrels - in keeping with the estate's traditional philosophy of limited human intervention during the winemaking process. Classic Bordeaux flavors of cassis, blackberry and plum are supported by subtle red floral nuances along with black pepper, rosemary, tobacco and cedar.
